Ponca City, Okla,- June 18th, 2019 – An exciting new opportunity for the fishermen and women of the 2019 North American Bass Circuit (NABC) comes up July 13th. Garmin presents the trophy at this popular fishing and recreation destination for the third stop of the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s NABC season.
Anglers will get to experience some of the best largemouth bass fishing the circuit has to offer on the Chain O’ Lakes. With just about any “style” of bass fishing a possibility, anglers comfortable with one particular way will be able to concentrate efforts to bring the 5 largest fish to the tournament trailer for weigh-in. Though there is lots of water to cover, the total population should give anyone a real chance to win the champions trophy.
This will be the first time the NABC has traveled to Illinois and anglers are excited. “For years we have had anglers from Illinois fishing with us in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, but this is a great chance to put an event in their home state.” Jack Baker, NABC Tournament Director said when asked why the addition of an Illinois event, “There are some really hardcore fishermen in that part of the country, we wanted to make sure we served them too.”
NABC 2019 format has a very modest base entry fee of only $200.00 per team, plus, will build upon the successful option pot model NABC has used for years. Option pot opportunities have been expanded for 2019. Pay back is 90% for all levels and ONLY to those teams that pay into them. All entries will payout one place for every six entries, which means maximum benefit to the teams that finish in the money and everyone can CHOOSE their own entry fees! Registration is now open through July 8th, 2019 – For more on this, visit northamericanbasscircuit.com.
Anglers can look forward to (5) one-day events on some of the most popular bass waters in North America. The winners of each of the 5 season events, as well as the top teams from the year-end point standings, will automatically advance to the NBAA National Championship in the spring of 2020 with all entry fees paid to NBAA and a chance at the top prize- a new aluminum Ranger Boat!
Points are tracked from each event to earn a Team of The Year prize package, which also includes advancement opportunity and other prizes for top finishers in the year-end team-of-the-year point standings.
With only a $40 annual membership fee per person, stout paybacks totaling over 100% each year, contingencies and option pot totals numbering into the in the tens of thousands of dollars, the anglers fishing the 2019 Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit will find ample opportunity to recover travels costs and entry fees.
