2019 Bass Pro Shops\Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit Has New Format, Something for Everyone

Great payback At Every Event, Choose Your Own Entry Fees, Winners of Every Event Advances To An Established National Championship Event Where the Top Prize Is A Ranger Boat!

Ponca City, OK., October 30, 2018 – The winds of change are rolling through the northern US and these changes will open the door to more of the best anglers throughout the region. An all new format is revealed for the 2019 Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit.

It begins with 90% payback in cash and prizes at every event. “There are a lot of great anglers in the northern US and we want to give them a first-class event to fish. Not everyone wants to spend thousands of the family’s dollars to compete in a bass tournament.” Stated NABC Tournament Director Jack Baker.   “But that doesn’t mean they’re not good enough to do so. Our new format fixes that problem and lets everyone choose their own “comfort” level of fees to maximize benefits to the anglers.”

NABC 2019 format will have a very modest base entry fee of only $200.00 per team, plus, will build upon the successful option pot model NABC has used for years.  Option pot opportunities have been expanded for 2019.  Pay back is 90% for all levels and ONLY to those teams that pay into them.  All entries will payout one place for every six entries, which means maximum benefit to the teams that finish in the money and everyone can CHOOSE their own entry fees!

Here’s how it works, the base entry is $200 per team, ALL teams must pay that and all teams are eligible to win a share of it. There will be additional OPTION POT entry fees, these are purely optional to get into and ONLY pays back to those teams that pay into them. If you do not enter an option pot you cannot win any part of an option pot.  Option pot #1 is $300 and Option Pot #2 is $500. Teams may get into one or both! All option pot entries must be paid before the registration deadline date, they cannot be paid at the event.

Anglers can look forward to (5) one-day events on some of the most popular bass waters in North America. The winners of each of the 5 season events, as well as the top teams from the year-end point standings, will automatically advance to the NBAA National Championship in the spring of 2020 with all entry fees paid to NBAA and a chance at the top prize- a new aluminum Ranger Boat!
