JULY 19, 2011—MINNETONKA, MN—Bass fans have until midnight Sunday, July 24 to register for their shot at big payouts, world-championship berths and world-class smallmouth action in the North American Bass Circuit’s July 30 shootout on Big and Little Bays de Noc out of Escanaba and Gladstone, Michigan.
With 24 teams signed up at press time, anglers in the Bays de Noc event have incredibly good odds at winning great cash prizes. Based on the current field size, the payout is GUARANTEED to have a $4,500 first-place cash prize. Second place pays $1,000; third place $580; and fourth through seventh places $400. As more teams sign up, these figures will grow. A full 50-boat field would yield a $10,000 first-place paycheck.
Plus, the Circuit’s Big-Bass Pot, along with sponsor contingencies including Cabela’s Angler Cash, Stratos 2X ‘Double Your Winnings,’ Ranger Cup, Detwiler-MarineTech Products, Optima Batteries True Blue program and O2 Technologies U2 and Oxygenator bonuses, add nearly $15,000 to the payout. The top four teams also receive great line and bait packages from Rapala, Trigger X and Sufix line.
As an added incentive, the top 10 teams at Bays de Noc will qualify for the 2011 World Bass Championship. Set for Sept. 24-25 at Leech Lake out of Walker, Minnesota, the Championship offers a $20,000 first-place paycheck.
The NABC is open to all anglers. Registration costs $450 per team. Teams may register by mail, fax, or online. Full details and printable registration forms are available at northamericanbasscircuit.com. Or email email@example.com for more information. Remember, registration closes at midnight July 24.
This is the second stop on the NABC’s 2011 season. The Lake Winnebago season opener drew teams from four states, and awarded a full payout plus contingencies. After Bays de Noc, the remaining tournament is August 19 at Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota.
